As an arts & culture producer, capacity builder, and educator all of these practices inevitably inform my work as a curator. I developed my independent curatorial practice out of a drive to create spaces for artistic voices who have been historically underrepresented at the institutions I worked at. Throughout my career, I found myself producing exhibition related education and public programs for exhibitions that had no representation for my Fil-Am community, or other marginalized communities, and this drove me to independently curate.

Social justice and identity are at the heart of my curatorial process. I'm interested in the curatorial process also acting as an outlet for finding community, sparking activism, and challenging societal structures.
